Meet the Team

We employ a strong and dedicated team of experienced people to organise and deploy our fleet of equipment and labour. We introduce to you some of our key people below - they have made the success of Connor Construction possible and are committed to the continual improvement of our service.

Ian Webb

He worked as a subcontractor for Ringway, Tarmac, Spadeoak, CEMEX and Lafarge before establishing Connor Construction as a company of integrity and quality in 2008. Ian started out as an operative, learning the trade from the bottom up and completing all activities associated with the laying of asphalt, including, prep work, rake, screws, paver and roller driving and chipping. He also has several years’ experience of groundworking and civils, from kerbing to drainage and concrete, providing a rounded practical education in highways. Ian's passion for the business and his dedication to exceeding client expectations has ensured that the company continues to grow and deliver what the industry needs, whenever and wherever it needs it!

Lorraine Branston-Davis

Lorraine joined Connors in 2014, after a nine-year role as Contract Coordinator with Tarmac. She is now responsible for the coordination of all labour and plant, having established good relationships with clients and Connor staff. Lorraine was responsible for developing the efficient electronic programming tool that is in place today, ensuring that all resources are accounted for and feeding into the invoicing system.

Julie Peet

Julie has been with the company since we started in 2008, having worked in administration and management roles within offices for over 25 years previously. As an original member of the Connor team, Julie knows the business inside out and is an integral part of our successful operation. She plays a critical role in the management of our complex IT systems, and is responsible for client accounts management and the payroll of over 100 employees, ensuring good working relationships are maintained and our staff are paid on time. Julie's diligent, trustworthy and tenacious work ethic ensures that Connor consistently performs well above client expectations.
