Paul Webb

Paul started working for Connor Construction (South West) Ltd on site in 2009 before becoming our Operations Manager in 2016.

Starting his career as a General Labourer in a surfacing gang, Paul went on to train on a variety of different machines. After gaining more experience and qualifications, Paul went on to become a Forman.

As our Operations Manager, Paul is now responsible for ensuring that all of the correct resources are sent to all of the right locations. He works hard to manage orders from clients and make sure that our Operations and surfacing teams are working together to meet our client’s needs.

Communication and professionalism are something that Paul expects from all those around him.  Paul ensures that our company as a whole stands out for having good manners and strong communication skills. Customer service and satisfaction are a priority here and Paul makes sure we do all that we can to provide a great client experience.

Paul enjoys the people at Connor’s and the big variety of personalities. Clients naturally take to Paul due to his reassuring site and industry knowledge and his friendly attitude. Another great attribute that Paul has noticed about Connor’s is it’s strong sense of community and the opportunities we provide for local people.

A great demonstration of Paul’s capabilities comes from his background on site. A proud moment for Paul was when got his first role as a Forman. Here he was working on the Wiltshire Patching Contract with Eurovia. The clients were very happy with Paul and his gang, who were all very proud of the fantastic work they had completed.

Paul would like to help to continue growing the Surfacing division both inside and outside of the UK. So far, Paul has seen tremendous growth in our capabilities as a company and the works we are asked to complete. He is proud to see how far our brand has come and is very excited to see where it is naturally heading.

A good read for Paul is the Highways Magazine, of which we are sponsors at their Highways Awards ceremony this year. Paul also likes to keep up to date on industry discussion through Facebook and Linkedin.

When he is not working, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and there adorable dog, Doug The Pug. He is also a keen fisherman, enjoying fishing trips in the Caribbean in particular.
