Supplying Labour to the Falkland Islands Government

In 2015, the Falkland Islands Government (FIG) approached Connors to source and supply labour to help the government achieve and improve their asphalt laying. Working 8000 miles from the UK, the Roads Engineer, Simon Catton, had to rely on the knowledge and judgement of Connor Construction to provide suitable, experienced and well-motivated staff. We supplied a supervisor and two operatives, who flew to the Falklands out of RAF Brize Norton and were away for 8 weeks. The season went well with FIG actively seeking Connor Construction to participate in tendering their services again.

Simon Catton told us “We received excellent service from initial discussions and through the course of the works programme and would recommend this company. A special thanks is made to Ian Webb for all his hard work”
